Explanation of Views

view - frontal full frontal view A full frontal view.
Imagine that you are a video camera (or a video camera operator) and for view (1) you would be looking directly at a person gesturing (signing).

view - profile side profile view A side profile view.
Here you are looking at the profile of a person.

view - above viewer head looking down looking down on your own hands It is the view you have as you look down on your own hands. Here the video camera would be above your head pointing down. Imagine this horizontal bracket shape as a nose with a cheek on either side.

view - in front of viewer head and body looking at your hands which are in front of your body Imagine the video camera being placed directly above your left or right shoulder and you are looking at your hands which are in front of your body. It is the absence of any graphic device such as are used in the other eight views which identifies view (4).

view - close up of ear close up of area around a person's ear This would be the close up of the area around a person's ear.

view - frontal close up of eyes close up frontal view of both eyes A close up front view of both eyes. This would be a close up of both eyes of a person.

view - side view close up of eye close up profile view of one eye A close up profile view of one eye. This would be a close up of the area around one eye as seen from the side view of a person.

view - side view close up of nose and eye close up profile view of eye and nose A close up profile view of eye and nose. This would be a close up of the eye and nose area of a person as seen from a side view.

view - side view of eye and mouth close up profile view of the mouth A close up profile view of the mouth. This would be a close up of the mouth as seen from a side view.
