Silvery Slocan Museum

New Denver, B.C.

The museum building was the Bank of Montreal from 1897
to the 1960s. It
has now been restored to its original condition with some terrific
artifacts inside. In the photo above, the long low building on the
right
was built as the office for government staff during the internment of
Japanese Canadians in the years of World War II.
We operate 9am to 5pm from Canada Day to Labour Day.
In the summer our phone number is 250 358-2719.
