Slocan Lake is glacier-fed, with a

In other words, Slocan Lake is the same as it has been for thousands of years, without the interference of man-made dams and unnatural level fluctuations. We at the Slocan District Chamber of Commerce strive to encourage local economic development , while at the same time respecting the wilderness qualities of the environment here. We represent the communities of Slocan, Silverton, New Denver, Hills and Sandon.
