The authors sincerely appreciate the contributions the citizens of the Slocan valley made to this plan. In an area where public process burn-out is understandably high, citizens still took time to share ideas, discuss options, agree and agree to disagree. The Community Action Plan Final Report and the Summary of the Final Report were completed in January 1999. The latest online version of the Community Action Plan and the Summary is of the final draft version from November 1998. Only relatively minor changes were made from the November Draft to the Final Report.
