2002 Glacier View Grand Prix       A Success!

Many thanks to all the racers who participated in this years SISU B.C.Cup Road Race #4 and all the events of the Glacier View Grand Prix. The results from this years race are available on this website (use link on left side menu). As we wrap up this year, we are already looking to next year and are compiling information to create a better event for both the racers and the community. Any questions about the race, and feedback, is appreciated. Please respond to Angie Hartley at:   jhartley@mdi.ca.

I would also like to extend thanks to all the volunteers. Without the great support of everyone involved, this race could not have happened. In particular, thanks to Bill Finley, Bernie van der Kwast, Richard Allen, Sharie Merrifield, John Herrman, Daniel Hellyer, Helen Davis, Katrina Hammond, Caroline Juric, Steve Lones, Peter Vogelaar, Allan Prazsky (of cycling bc), special thanks to Danielle Foreman, and to everyone not mentioned here who was involved; you are the body without which this race would not succeed. Many thanks to you all.

Volunteers should look for information on the race party; we will get in touch personally, and anyone involved is invited to attend. Time frame is for mid September.

I would like to extend our thanks to all the local business' and residents of New Denver and area for their support of the event, and would like to invite anyone to feel free to contact me with their feedback on the event, and ideas to make future events even more successful.
