BY AIR:

Castlegar Airport is about 100km (62miles) from New Denver. Car rental is available. Take Highway 3A east towards Nelson; then Highway 6 north to New Denver.

BY CAR:

From the North: Highway 23 south from Revelstoke to Nakusp; then Highway 6 south to New Denver.

From the West: (Fraser Valley/Lower Mainland). Highway 3 to Castlegar; Highway 3A west towards Nelson; then Highway 6 north to New Denver.

From the North Okanogan: Highway 6 east from Vernon to Nakusp, then south to New Denver.

From the East: (Calgary) via Cranbrook/Creston. Highway 3 to Castlgar; Highway 3A east towards Nelson; Highway 6 north to New Denver. From Calgary via Revelstoke (see above, from the North).

From the USA via Spokane: Highway 25 north at Kettle Falls to border; Highway 22 north to Castlegar; Highway 3A towards Nelson; Highway 6 north to New Denver. Not all border crossings are open 24 hours.
